James White

President & Chief Operating Officer

James White is responsible for the operation of all of the company’s energy assets and leads the company’s asset management programs. Before joining ReEnergy in June 2011, Jim was General Manager at NextEra Energy, Inc. (formerly Florida Power & Light), a leading clean energy company with approximately 43,000 megawatts (MW) of generating capacity and approximately 15,000 employees. Prior to that, he was with American Ref-Fuel Company, where he held various engineering and management positions, including plant manager. He has a bachelor’s degree in marine engineering from Massachusetts Maritime Academy and a master’s degree in business administration from Bentley University.
