Albany, NY – ReEnergy Holdings LLC, an Albany, N.Y.- based renewable energy company, has appointed Sarah Boggess of East Greenbush, NY as the company’s Director of Communications and Governmental Affairs.
Ms. Boggess has more than 20 years’ experience in the communications field. She worked as a reporter for nine years, capping her journalism career in the State Capitol bureau of the Albany Times Union. She then worked as a Press Officer for the Majority conference of the New York State Senate, as the Vice President of Institutional Advancement at Hudson Valley Community College, and most recently as a Vice President at the public affairs firm of Behan Communications, Inc.
In her new position, Ms. Boggess will manage stakeholder engagement efforts in ReEnergy’s communities, coordinating relationships with the community, media, and elected officials.
“Sarah comes to ReEnergy with a strong background and expertise in implementing stakeholder engagement efforts,” said Larry Richardson, ReEnergy’s Chief Executive Officer. “It is a priority for us to maintain open communications with the stakeholders that we serve in the public and private sectors, especially our governmental officials at the local, state and federal levels.”
Ms. Boggess earned a bachelor’s degree in Economics and Government from Dartmouth College and an MBA from Union Graduate College.
